Bjergsted.no is meant to serve as a cultural portal of events coming up, so people can have a good overview of what’s happening in the district, with the slogan “What’s happening, before it’s happening” – becase of this, we used fortune cookies to tease people of what was to come. There was 10 different messages in the cookies, such as “A great experience awaits”, “Come and try something new”, “Let yourself be carried away by emotions”, etc. These were handed out at the Stavanger concerthall, University of Stavanger and Maestro Restaurant.

New Post has been published on http://www.danielbrokstad.com/portfolio/oljedirektoratet/Oljedirektoratet: Recruit campaignOljedirektoratet (OD), The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD), are looking for both new and experienced people to join their team decide how the oil resources in Norway should be used in the best way. It’s all about the environment, resource management and respect for the next generations to come. OD has a responsibility for all of Norway, and because of that we use a quote from our National anthem, “Elsker, elsker det å tenkte” which translates to “Love, love to think”, since they are looking for people who are looking to put their mindpower to good use.
For this campaign we had two spanish street artists, Pablo S. Herrero and David de la Mano, paint three walls with heads branching out as a symbol of thinking. The artworks were painted at the headquarers to NPD, The University of Stavanger and at The Science Factory. The photography of their artworks were then used in the campaign material itself.
